The Whisky Angel in Islay

Whisky Coast LogoThe Whisky Coast has been created in collaboration with hotels, restaurants, golf courses, spas, tour operators and visitor attractions in the west coast & islands of Scotland.

Spanning from Arran, Campbeltown and Islay in the south west to the Isle of Skye in the north west, the Whisky Coast is a wonderful journey and a perfect get-away, with an abundance of scenery, wildlife, beaches, gardens, leisure activities and, of course, the wonderful array of gourmet food and drink.

This Arran & Islay Holiday (see below) is just one suggestion, a wonderful trip to two fantastic islands, not just for lovers of whisky. You can also combine with the islands of Mull and/or Skye.

The 'angel's share', as it is known, is the process of evaporation through the natural breathability of the barrel as the whisky matures. Who would want to begrudge the angels their share of this lovely magic!?

Information on accommodation available on this holiday.
Additional accommodation is available including the The Harbour Inn & Restaurant in Bowmore, Islay.
