There is an abundance of wildlife nearby yet it is only a 15 minutes drive from Portree.

The house has three bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with twins bed. Spacious and comfortably furnished yet still retaining the character of bygone times, it features a sitting room with open fire, colour TV and panoramic views, delightful dining room and kitchen with Belfast sink, electric cooker, washing machine, microwave, fridge & freezer. There is also a bathroom with bath.

There is a large private garden to the front and back which is perfect for children. Urquhart House has oil fired central heating making it a cosy all year round property.

Nearby is a riding stables, 9 hole golf course, opportunities for fishing, Dunvegan Castle with boat trips to see the seal colony and Skeabost Country Hotel, and of course it is a lovely base from which to explore the whole of Skye including the dramatic scenery and walking & climbing opportunities of the Cuillin Mountains.
