There are five comfortable cedarwood cabins, equipped to a high standard.
Visitors relish the tranquillity of the peaceful woodland setting overlooking the River South Esk with a panoramic view of the Glens. They are an ideal centre for touring, good walking, golf, fishing, castles (Glamis Castle is nearby), birdwatching, shopping, Pictish heritage trails, etc.
Holly and Ivy are designed for 2 people with an open plan studio layout with king size double bed (or twins), lounge and kitchenette, and a shower & toilet. Please note there is no
separate bedroom - the bed is part of the open plan layout inside the cabin. Each cabin has a splendid view of the River South Esk and the Angus Glens.
Bracken (2 bedrooms sleeping 4) and Heather & Thistle Cabins (3 bedrooms sleeping 6) have an open plan lounge/dining area with a coal effect electric heater and a patio. One bedroom has a king sized double bed (or twins) and the other bedroom(s) have twin beds. The bathroom has a bath with separate electric shower. Bracken, Heather & Thistle Cabins also have a heated drying cupboard for wet outdoor clothing.
The cedarwood cabins are well insulated and have electric heaters. Hot water is by electric immersion heater. Kitchens are all electric with microwave oven. Each cabin has a colour television.
The big field beside the cabin is ideal for children and pets to enjoy.
They are quiet but not remote, only 1½ miles from the A90 Dundee - Aberdeen road (16 miles north of Dundee).
Groups of up to 20 can enjoy exclusive use of the cabins (total of 10 bedrooms).
The studio cabins are semi detached (joined), the others are individual cabins.
