South Ardminish is located just a few hundred yards from the ferry slipway at Ardminish and the friendly Gigha Hotel. The views from the cottage are quite stunning overlooking Ardminish Bay across to the Mull of Kintyre.

Its central location is ideal for visits to the nearby village shop and post office. Just to the north of the cottage is a 9 hole golf course, and the famous Achamore Gardens are a few minutes walk to the south.

This cottage will comfortably sleep six in two twin bedded rooms and one double room. It has a large lounge and a welcoming and cosy open fire for those lazy nights when you just want to unwind and relax. Oil central heating and colour television. The well equipped and spacious kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge freezer.

The delightful small island of Gigha offers cycling, walking, wildlife, charming bays of white sand, standing stones, golf and fishing. The celebrated Achamore Gardens are simply stunning.

There are regular, daily ferries to Gigha from Tayinloan in Kintyre (20 minutes). They are non-bookable - you just turn up and wait for the next ferry. The cost of your return ferry crossings can be pre-paid and a voucher issued which you exchange for your tickets when you check-in at the ferry port - please ask us at the time of booking your cottage.
